Hidden away on Dean Street, The Living Room is a private, low-key space for recording, writing, and production in the heart of Soho. It’s designed to feel exactly like the name suggests - soft lighting, worn-in rugs, and an atmosphere that lets you take your time and breathe.
While the setup is top-spec, the gear is integrated into a space that feels like a sanctuary, featuring a vintage Premier drum kit, a felted Yamaha U3 for quiet, cinematic takes, and an older upright with the kind of character you only get from a piano that’s lived a long life. It’s a place to shut the door on the city, sink into an armchair, and just create in a space that feels like home.
The Living Room is a secret tucked away on Dean Street, operating as a haven for musicians, producers and composers to create and collaborate at the highest standard. It also operates as a musical ecosystem where the paid work in the studio allows a budget for developing artists to have access to the space - enabling studio time, mentorship and genuine community with the professional musicians working in the space. A sanctuary to nurture unsigned artists who could find themselves priced out of commercial spaces - keeping Soho thriving as a melting pot of creativity, protecting the genuine creative heartbeat of the neighbourhood and ensuring that high-end recording remains accessible to those with something real to say.
